Why subscribe to unlimited access
Everything is geared to your needs (Gigabyte) (Giga octet)
According to the most recent statistics (2015) from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), consumers use an average of 93 Gb of downloads each month. This explosion of consumption is attributed notably to the use of video on demand like Netflix and Tout.tv and the flux of music services continue like Spotify. If you use any of these services you should be considering a package of 150 Gb per month. In certain cases, especially for families, the package of unlimited volume could be advantageous.
The Ultra HD 4K… could take up your monthly allotment of data
Here’s the catch. The volume of data per hour required for the Ultra HD 4K.
At 25 Mbits, the consumption of video of the Ultra HD 4K level is 11.25 Gb/h. So, it would only take 10 hours of listening within this definition to surpass the volume of 100 Gigabyte.
Unlimited Volume Package
This is why we are offering, an unlimited volume package to prevent monthly surcharges.
$ 2 / Gigabyte, up to $ 30 / month
Optional 90% consumption level alarm
From the TFLM WEB site, you can activate a consumption alarm to be automatically notified by email, at 90% of the use of the allocated volume of your internet service. www.telefibrelaminerve.com / CUSTOMER SPACE / Connect to my account / INTERNET – Select: I want to receive an email notification…

Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) is a technology that allows multiple devices to connect to each other and to the internet without having to use cables or wires. This system is based on radio waves that, over short distances, manage to connect your internet box, computers, printers, phones and game consoles to a broadband link. Wi-Fi is based on the IEEE 802.11 standard, which includes a set of standards used internationally for wireless communication. The latest is 802.11ac, which reaches 1,300 Mbit / s.
Router
The router broadcasts a signal in a certain area. The signal can be picked up and used by cell phones, computers, tablets, smart TVs or other devices when they are in that area. A rather practical device to connect to the Internet at home. The choice of a router depends on the number of mobile devices you have and the use you make of the Internet. If your needs are minimal, most basic routers can do the trick. On the other hand, if you have several devices and a big house to cover, it is better to opt for a more powerful router that will offer a greater range. Please note that to ensure good quality Wi-Fi, you must ensure that there are no electromagnetic waves emitted by other electrical devices. Why? Because they cause interference. You must also bring the transmitter and the receiver closer to each other to enjoy a good flow.
Optimal speed and the location of your router
To ensure optimal Wi-Fi, place your router high up on a desk or shelf. If possible, avoid concrete walls, metal objects and ventilation / air conditioning systems. Keep the place clear of any clutter. Large objects and other electronic devices interfere with the range of the Wi-Fi signal. If you have a large home and your devices are far from the router, consider installing a signal amplifier to extend your wireless network. If you’re still not getting the speeds you’re looking for, then your broadband subscription may be the cause. There is no point in investing in state-of-the-art network equipment (for example, even more efficient routers), if your internet speed is not up to par.
Wi-Fi routers are not just limited to wireless connections. You may want to get the optimal speed offered by TFLM, for example when playing in an online competition. To do this, simply connect your device directly to an Ethernet port on the router using a network cable.

Test your current connection speed
The speed test may be impacted by the location of your router. Our technician during installation did a speed test at the output of the ONT (Optical Network Terminal) so the signal at this location is unaffected by interference and represents the speed that TFLM sold you.
